Carole from Auckland writes, “I have had a worm farm for a number of years now – in an old Auckland Council recycling bin (and on this matter the Council should be ashamed of itself with wheelie bins discarded and abandoned on sites around Auckland City – I could name a few which could be well used for the likes of this). I cut a square out of the bottom and made a lift type lid. It is great and cost me nothing but a bit of time. I use the tea/pee for my garden and herbs and the rest in my garden. I am always on the lookout for free coffee grounds from cafes – I have my workplace on board and I’m spreading the word.”
