I would like to share ideas on making great skin care products that are a fraction of the price of bought ones and more effective too. I use Fatty Cream (about $8 for 500gms from the chemist) as a base. Spoon out enough to 2/3 fill your recycled small container. I add another 1/3  almond or safflower oil and whip it up together with an ice cream stick. This is a good general body moisturiser. You can add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to add fragrance. For face cream I add some squeezed vitamin E capsules to the basic body mix. (Rosehip oil is wonderful too.) To make a vitamin A cream,  I add some squeezed cod liver oil caps instead. Great for cracked heels.
